Everett M. Shaver, Jr., 87, a lifelong Liberty resident, died Saturday, June 12, 2021 at Liberty Hospital. He passed absent peacefully with beloved ones at his aspect.
A Celebration of Existence provider will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 6, at Liberty Christian Church, 427 E. Kansas St., Liberty, MO 64068. A reception for family and good friends will observe the provider in the church fellowship hall. Burial with military honors was held June 18, 2021 at Glenridge Cemetery in Liberty.
Everett was born Dec. 11, 1933, in Liberty, MO, the youngest of 3 kids of Margaret (Burke) Shaver and Everett M. Shaver, Sr. He grew up in Liberty and graduated from Liberty Higher Faculty in 1952. Throughout substantial college, Everett joined the US Military Reserves, and would proceed that job right up until getting whole retirement as a Command Sergeant Significant in 1978.
Everett went to operate for Individuals Cooperative Affiliation (now Farmland Industries) in 1953 where by he met his foreseeable future wife, Ruby Mae McCullough. They have been united in relationship on Nov. 7, 1953 in King City, MO.
Everett afterwards worked for Avon Items in Administration for 30-moreover many years until finally retirement. He then worked for Evelyn Attractiveness Offer for a different 10 many years.
Everett was a lifelong member of Liberty Christian Church, where by he served as an Elder for a lot of years. He liked tenting, traveling to Nationwide parks, Branson and Silver Dollar Metropolis, bluegrass songs festivals, and volunteer do the job at church and at the Martha Lafite Thompson Mother nature Sanctuary. Most of all he appreciated expending time with his family and mates.
Together with his mom and dad, Everett was preceded in demise by two sisters, Mary Elizabeth Duncan and Katie Votipka.
Survivors consist of his wife of 67 years, Ruby five little ones, Martin Shaver (Marty), Becky Ehlers (Terry), Brenda Shaver, Brian Shaver (Patsy) and Jeff Shaver (Chris) 12 grandchildren, five fantastic-grandchildren and lots of cousins, nieces, nephews, other household associates and buddies.
Memorial donations to Liberty Christian Church Neighborhood Missions in care of the previously mentioned address would be gratefully appreciated by the loved ones.
