MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Police are on the lookout for several accused shoplifters right after a scary incident at C & P Splendor Source on Lamar Avenue.
Investigators say a few folks stole around $500 really worth of garments from the Orange Mound retail store all around 6 p.m. Tuesday, then assaulted the shop house owners when they tried to prevent them.
Police say these proprietors chased the a few intruders into the parking lot but unsuccessful to get the merchandise again. Investigators say 1 owner was punched in the face four moments and assert the other was bitten by one particular of the shoplifters.
Bobbie Bowen runs a neighboring outfits retail store. She states she’s witnessed one particular of C & P’s owners try to quit a shoplifter in advance of.
